Are there any open Minecraft free build Servers?

I have Minecraft but want to play online with my friends.We don’t want to make our own Server so i wanted to know if there were any open servers where we can play not p v p and people wont by retards and steal your crap.

If i remember right you can Log on to mc1.joe.to or mc2.joe.to (does not have any mobs, and if you go a bit away from spawn you won’t get greifed so easily) to get a creative public server.
Log on to mc4.joe.to to get onto the FFA Survival.
